Death Hatter

"...Once upon a time, there was a poison merchant who had a shop in a mysterious town by a lake. He wore a large, peculiar hat that covered his eyes and sold remedies to the needy, saying he had an incubator full of all kinds of poisonous, yet useful, mushrooms.

One day, Ama and Nita, a group of sisters, arrived in the town and, in addition to settling there, opened a medicine shop where they combined herbs and magic to heal. The man began to lose sales, and envy blinded his thoughts, leading him to denounce the sisters to the clergyman, accusing them of witchcraft.

The villagers burned the two girls at the stake. Ama managed to escape, but Nita was not so lucky. They were indeed witches, and the surviving sister's revenge turned into fury against the villagers.

The hatter of the poison shop was at the center of the spell; the witch turned all her anger against him, transforming all his healing creations into a profound curse. The fungus clung to its body as the flesh began to decompose, leaving only its bones and a torturing spirit within the creature.

The monster was sent to the city at dawn, spreading its spores. Three hours after contact, people began to feel pain and severe damage to their central nervous system. Blood gushed from their eyes as fear and hysteria took hold. The city crumbled due to the poison, leaving a trail of bodies.

The Death Hatter now walks the Earth, transforming everything that still possesses a spark of life into a rotting void."
